A Byron man was arrested after a neighbor says he killed her family's puppy. The dog's owner is in fear for her life, and the lives of her two children.

"He came back with a gun in his hand and aimed it at her and looked at me and said you had this coming and he shot her twice in the head," Toni Smission, dog owner.

Jason Allman has been accused of first beating Toni Smission's dog with a hammer and then shooting it because it was on his property.

He was charged because of his own security camera footage. It shows Allman with an automatic pistol and silencer.

Chief of Police Cannon said the man "fired 14 shots". He is charged with Felony Aggravated Cruelty to Animals and Discharging a Weapon in a Residential Area. This carries a one to 5 year jail sentence.

The ATF should investigate why this man has a silencer and is using it in a neighborhood?

Hmm... It would still be a crime to discharge a firearm in the city limits and it would still be a Felony to commit Aggravated Animal Cruelty.
At least he admits Jason Allman is guilty.
